A Single Phase Hybrid Multiport Microinverter for Photovoltaic Energy Controlled by Exact Linearization

Solar energy can be captured by Photovoltaics (PV) and converted into electrical power. This power then connected to grids electronic converters, which also operate the PV panels at around their maximum point (MPP), maximizing harvested energy. When are in an array, partial shading effect generates a distortion of curve result loss since tracking algorithms might not able detect MPP. To solve this issue microinverters have been proposed, with small converter being each panel, arrangement enables independence for isolation. paper presents double output multiport microinverter capable feeding DC AC loads or providing connection single-phase grid storage. The proposed structure operated grid-connected islanded modes. describes controlled exact linearization technique on both sides, obtaining lineal transfer function representation nonlinear coupled converters. operation topology its control strategy is validated using laboratory proof-of-concept prototype.
